Intensive Polish Language Courses
Classes at our Centre are offered throughout the year.
For candidates who are fluent in a Slavic language and plan to study in Polish, we offer the Intensive Polish Language Course (link). This programme helps students quickly develop the language skills needed for academic studies at a Polish university.
For learners from all over the world who would like to start learning Polish from the very beginning, we offer Polish Language: From Beginner to B1 (link). This comprehensive course introduces participants step by step to the Polish language and culture.
Polish Language Certificate Exam Preparation Courses
Our courses are not only for students. We also offer Polish Language Certificate Exam Preparation Courses for university graduates and foreigners living and working in Poland. These courses help participants prepare effectively for official Polish language certification exams.
How do we teach?
Classes are held in groups of 8–12 or 12–16 participants, fostering active participation and individual support.
We use the communicative teaching method, which helps students start using Polish in real-life situations from the very beginning. Our lessons include a variety of teaching materials, practical exercises, and educational games, making learning both effective and engaging.
Before the course begins, every participant takes a placement test to assess their Polish language level. Based on the results, students are assigned to groups with learners of a similar proficiency level. We follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) when assessing language competence.
Polish Language Exams

Since 2025, the Polish Language Centre of the Foreign Language Centre has been a member of the telc network and an authorised examination centre for the telc Polish B1/B2 dual-level exam.
Exams are usually held once a month. Detailed information about the exam and registration process can be found in the TELC EXAM section.
State Certificate Exam in Polish as a Foreign Language
The Foreign Language Centre of the Warsaw University of Technology is an authorised examination centre for State Certificate Exams in Polish as a Foreign Language.
